Our LOA arrived via FedEx on Wednesday. It has now been signed and sent via FedEx back to Eugene, OR.
The next step was to fill out the USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) I-800 and I-864W. We completed the forms and are now waiting for the Article 16 letter (which must be included with the I-800) to arrive from Holt. It was mistakenly left out of the last FedEx envelope. This will arrive via FedEx on Monday. Then I will head back to the FedEx store to mail everything off to USCIS. We will then wait for the NVC (I have no idea what this stands for) confirmation letter. Praying that they will process this paperwork quickly.
Just checked and NVC stands for National Visa Center.

LOA Today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a phone call from Holt today telling us that our Letter of Acceptance (LOA) arrived from China today. It will be sent via FedEx tomorrow and we will receive it on Wednesday. I will be gone on Wednesday on a field trip with Joshua's class, but Grandma will be here with Jayden, so she will be able to sign for it. So exciting. I'll write about what the next steps are as soon as I know what they are. I know the packet will contain our LOA, and the paperwork to start our I-800 with all the instructions. Woohoo, one giant step forward.

Waiting for LOA
We are still waiting for our LOA, Letter of Acceptance, from China. We were told it would take 8 - 12 weeks from LID, Log in Date. We are now at week 8 and are hoping it comes soon! Just waiting for the phone call or e-mail from Holt that they got it.
We are starting to prepare for our trip although we don't know when that will be. We've decided on the new camera we want to get and bought 2 new backpacks to use as carry ons. One was a great deal at just $9.99. Not bad for a $60.00 backpack.
Here's to hoping that when I push publish the phone will ring and we'll have our LOA.
Our little Grace will be 15 months old on June 8. We want to go ASAP and bring her home!
